Building long-term relationships with his patients and providing care that empowers women’s health is the overarching philosophy of Steven W. Tucker, MD, ACGE, FACOG. At his practice, Advanced Menstrual Care Center, in Towson, Maryland, Dr. Tucker finds solutions to common menstrual conditions, often providing rapid relief from symptoms in his office. Dr. Tucker spends as much time as needed getting to know his patients, their medical history, and their overall health and well-being.
Dr. Tucker’s education began as an undergraduate at Harvard University. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, in Baltimore. He completed his residency at St. Agnes Hospital, also in Baltimore. Dr. Tucker is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Dr. Tucker is among the first group of physicians to adopt advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy treatment methods. He earned his certification in each from the Accreditation Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy.
In medical school, Dr. Tucker excelled in all medical specialties, but he found the practice of OB/GYN unique in that it allows him to provide both primary women’s health care and surgical treatment. Through his health care practice and state-of-the-art procedures, Dr. Tucker helps women feel more confident and secure when they no longer have to worry about abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, or endometriosis.
In addition to finding practical medical solutions to improve his patients’ quality of life, Dr. Tucker is a Christian who believes God is the source of healing. He prays for and with his patients, and treats each woman with respect, sensitivity, empathy, and gentleness.
In his spare time, Dr. Tucker enjoys chess, live music, travel, dining out, and playing video games with his grandson.
